Ever had a friend with benefits? Merely, just friends but with benefits? It's hard. I believe it's much harder for females than males to keep it emotionless.
In a psychological sense, women become attached to those they hook up with. Even the slightest bit. You make that sexual connection with someone and instantly you love this attention you're receiving. Whether its publicly or in private.
It's attention that we seek. Women are a little attention seeking, even if its just a hint of it, it's deep down inside all of us. But when reality hits that it is just sex, we want to make it more so badly. Women try as they might to change that man, but that won't happen.
The way a friend with benefits relationship is portrayed in movies is just so wrong. It's so off. Incredibly wrong. That may happen to 1/1,000,000 of the relationships, but that's just not what happens.
I swear, and I will admit this myself, when "No Strings Attached" and "Friends with Benefits" premiered, women across the world gained a little bit of hope that a relationship could go from just sex to magical love. I wish, I wish so badly that was the case. If it was, I would've had so many REAL relationships. Not this, lets keep this on the "hush-hush" bull.
Ladies, if that is in fact what you seek, all the power to you. You are a very strong woman. But proceed with caution.
